What we collect
- Member data — name, business name, phone, email, certifications, NAICS codes, location
- Event registration data — events you've registered for, payment confirmations, attendance check-ins
- Communications preferences — opt-in status for email and SMS
How we use it
- Display verified member profiles in the public directory (you control which fields are public)
- Send event reminders, sponsorship renewals, and monthly meeting notifications
- Generate attendance reports for the Awards Committee
- Verify and revalidate member contact information on a quarterly cycle
What we don't do
- Sell member data to third parties
- Use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels
- Store payment card data — all transactions are handled by Stripe (PCI Level 1)
Your rights
- Request a data export, profile correction, or full account deletion at any time
- Email chair@scwbec.org — requests are honored within 30 days
